New Learning MOOC’s Updates

Online learning a necessity in education systems after COVID-19

Throughout education history, education was meant for the classroom, and outside the classroom it was never considered authentic. This brought about restrictions and problems of access in remote areas. Some people became less privileged without the easy educational opportunities to improve their lives economically and socially.

During this time of COVID-19 pandemic, when people's movement is restricted and access to education curtailed to the extent that people especially children can only learn at a distance with the aid of the latest technologies (the Internet in particular). As it is now a popular household name; online learning vibrating in every corner of society is the only option for access to education or learn, It is unfortunate that a good percentage of people can't have access causing the educational gap to widen more. We should all concur that the future to education is using online educational resources and making the internet accessible to all even after the COVID-19.

The burden is more on the underdeveloped countries where people rarely can afford the volume of internet traffic needed to stay online required to access educational materials or attend live classes. The only way forward is for the world bodies like UNESCO, UNICEF, and the United Nations, in general, to come up with a global strategy for people to receive education at home in time of Pandemics.
