I also have an in-person presentation in a panel presentation in themed session. Mine is a screening of a short documentary film, with discussion to follow. How will online attendees be able to participate in the discussion? Will there be a synchronous component to these sessions? Or, alternatively, should I prepare everything to be able to be accessed and contributed to asynchronously? Thanks so much, and I'll see you in Galway soon.

All In Person Blended delegates will present in person in Galway. In addition, we kindly ask In Person delegates to upload asynchronous digital media so that the Online Only delegates can view, and ask questions in the discussion board. I hope that clears things up for you.

We have an in-person presentation in a panel presentation in themed session. We have uploaded our slides as digital media, but since we are presenting in person, do we need to also upload a recorded presentation before we present in-person?

One of the reasons we ask for uploaded digital media is for the viewers who attend online to view it, so if you believe the slides accurately capture your presentation you do not have to do anything more. You can also choose to upload slides with audio for the online viewers instead of a video, but it is definitely up to you. Let us know if you need anything more.

Dear Organisers, I have a paper accepted for presentation in the Media Culture themed session (online only). However, I have been experiencing trouble uploading and adding my digital media content of my presentation. I have followed the guidelines provided on the website but each time I try uploading my ppt or even pdf, the response I get is this site cannot be found. I would be grateful if this issue can be resolved or if alternative means can be provided to upload my digital media. Thank you.
