Accessibility of Museum Structures in National Territory and Reappropriation of Exhibition Materials

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of accessibility and how it impacts the public’s perception of national museum institutions. This analysis is carried out primarily from a purely formal perspective, using current legislation regarding accessibility standards to be implemented in spaces covered and enjoyed by the public sphere and will subsequently have the purpose of reformulating and reusing materials that are no longer used by public institutions, to create sustainable solutions to facilitate accessibility to spaces for visitors.
