Of Voice and Stone - 200 Years of History in the American Legation Building and Morocco: Creating a Global Exhibition during the Pandemic

Abstract

Over the course of two years, much of it during the pandemic, my team created an exhibition to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the American Legation Building in Tangier, Morocco. We were pushed by pandemic conditions in partnerships, logistics, and travel barriers. Through it all we opened June 9th 2021 in the National Library in Rabat, Morocco to great applause. The exhibition will be moving to Casablanca the Fall of 2021 and finally to Washington D.C. the spring of 2022. Come hear and see the journey through this discussion featuring multimedia.
