I ❤️ HyperDocs: Meld Disparate Lesson Elements into Cohesive and Interactive Teaching/Learning Packages Your Students Will Enjoy

Abstract

One of the challenges educators face while shaping the next normal is figuring out how to provide consistent and engaging learning experiences to all students – wherever their desktops may be on any given day. HyperDocs can be used to meet that goal by bundling the instructional resources and learning activities for one lesson cycle into a digital nexus easily adapted for all levels, content areas, and instructional contexts. During this workshop, you’ll first explore a variety of templates and examples that can be used as is or remixed to meet your students’ needs and then hack a starter HyperDoc. Note: If you’re joining in from a tablet, please download or update the Google Drive, Docs, and Slides apps. A preview copy of the ‘I ❤️ HyperDocs’ workshop catalogue will be available.
