Online Only - Hosted by University of the Aegean - Rhodes Campus

Description

Welcome to the micro-site for the Fourteenth International Conference on e-Learning & Innovative Pedagogies.

Founded in 2006, the e-Learning & Innovative Pedagogies Research Network is brought together around a common concern for new technologies in learning and an interest to explore possibilities for innovative pedagogies. We seek to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary geographic and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, we are defined by our scope and concerns and motivated to build strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.

The Fourteenth International Conference on e-Learning & Innovative Pedagogies calls for research addressing the following annual themes and special focus:

  • 2021 Special Focus - Transcending Social Distance: Emerging Practices in e-Learning

  • Theme 1: Considering Digital Pedagogies

  • Theme 2: New Digital Institutions and Spaces

  • Theme 3: Technologies of Mediation

  • Theme 4: Designing Social Transformations

We are interested in the following lines of investigation:

  • On the dynamics of learning in and through digital technologies.

  • On the changing the institutional forms of education—classroom, schools, and learning communities—in the context of ubiquitous computing.

  • On new learning devices and software tools.

  • On the social transformations of technologies, and their implications for learning.

e-Learning & Innovative Pedagogies Research Network also supports a book imprint and a collection of journals.

COVID UPDATE

Due to current travel restrictions—and uncertainty on the date these restrictions will end—we have decided to continue with only the online component of the 2021 conference.
