Learning at the Time of the Covid19: Motivational Factors of University Students at Risk of Implicit Exclusion in a Multicultural Context

Abstract

The emergency caused by the Covid19 has led to an unprecedented educational emergency in the Spanish education system. Like most governments around the world, the Spanish government imposed the temporary closure of on-site schools in an attempt to contain the spread of the disease. In an attempt to safeguard the right to education, the educational authorities, in collaboration with the different institutions, tried to facilitate the continuity of learning through blended (online) teaching. The aim of this research project is to find out how the new learning derived from the educational measures taken since the beginning of the global pandemic has affected the motivational factors of university students and, in this way, to see to what extent teachers can contribute to making the teaching/learning process more efficient and effective taking into account the aspects analysed in the research project.
