The Dialogues Generated in the Process of Modeling Design Ideas: Design Acts

Abstract

It is considered that the act of creation in design is essentially an inseparable dialectic between concept and representation, allowing the designer to consolidate his work. Designers are responsible for generating design ideas, testing and refining as a means to perfect the problem. Then, the need to identify how are the dialogues of knowledge during the process, in its exploration phase? And how they are given? Is evident. This need goes where it is more divergent, because there we assume that acts of design are generated that allow maneuvering creative and relative facts to find opportunities, discovering facets still to be developed in the projective activity. Likewise, the description of the dialogues that arise in the act of design, will allow to recognize that they are fundamental part of the design process, therefore, it is revealed as an unconscious skill that must be brought to the consciousness of the collective knowledge of the design. Finally, the research will allow us to understand the relation of the knowledge of thinking, process and its representation in design solutions, generating useful knowledge about the processes of dialogue that arise in the course of the intelligible idea to become artifacts that will be part of the material culture.
