Abstract
The study investigates the effectiveness of the Real-time Property Crime Surveillance Dashboard within the municipality of Calumpit utilizing Power BI for superior property crime reporting and analysis. By integrating advanced data processing and visualization, the dashboard significantly enhances immediate crime reporting, identification of patterns, and trend analysis, thereby elevating situational awareness, streamlining resource allocation, and encouraging community-based crime prevention measures. Employing a mixed-methods approach that incorporates quantitative analysis, user experience feedback, and geo-spatial mapping, the research evaluates the dashboard’s influence on improving crime management and fostering community engagement. The findings reveal substantial improvements in the speed of crime reporting, the accuracy of crime pattern detection, and heightened community participation in crime prevention, ultimately leading to a considerable decline in property crime rates in Calumpit, Bulacan.
