Recognizing the Value of Mid-to-Late Career Professionals: Embracing Expertise, Knowledge, and Experience

This workshop explores ways to recognize and promote the value of mid-to-late career professionals. One consistent characteristic of being human, in any capacity, is change. In this session, participants explore how they have evolved as emerging professionals to now someone more confident, more skilled, and better equipped to handle the globalization of today’s organizations. This session explores: the stages a professional's life and how each of those stages can be maximized to build professional and personal growth, impact, and longevity. By the end of this session, participants will: Explore their own career through experiences, reflective questions, and timeline mapping. Collaborate on how different professionals working together can help strengthen a professional community. Articulate how understanding the how lived experiences of a professional's career can prepare them for unexpected events, meaningful connections, and never-ending changes taking place in organizations.
