Sustainability in Vermont's K-12 Standards-Based Curriculum Framework

Vermont's Framework of (K-12) Standards and Learning Opportunities (1996) omitted concepts of sustainability and understanding place. This shortcoming was corrected (2002) through coordinated effort by non-formal environmental organizations.
