Environmental Policy and Regulation,and the Practice of Management: A Call for a Burden Added Tax

The evolution of environmental regulation is reviewed. A universal environmental tax (“Burden Added Tax”) is introduced as the ultimate market-based regulation. Changes in management are shown to be needed.
