Dear Mac Bianchi Calero

I would like to express my concerns regarding the Asynchronous Online Presentation format adopted for the conference.

I found this approach to be deeply disappointing, as it significantly limited meaningful academic engagement among conference participants. One of the primary reasons researchers attend international conferences is to present their work, receive critical feedback, participate in scholarly discussions, and exchange ideas with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Unfortunately, the asynchronous format did not provide these opportunities.

In this conference, I found many of the papers presented in the asynchronous format to be thought-provoking and highly relevant to current educational challenges. If these papers had been presented to a live online audience, they could have been questioned, discussed, and constructively challenged. Such interactions are invaluable in strengthening research and fostering academic collaboration. Although two participants responded to my presentation online, this cannot compare with the dynamic exchange of ideas that could have taken place if it had been presented in a live online session.

Given the registration fee of US$250, I expected a conference experience that would facilitate active scholarly engagement rather than simply hosting pre-recorded presentations. I believe the asynchronous format substantially diminished the academic value of the conference and did not provide the level of interaction that participants reasonably expect from an international academic event.

I hope the conference organisers will carefully reconsider this approach for future conferences and provide opportunities for live online presentations . Such formats better support academic discourse, encourage collaboration, and ensure that participants receive greater value from their investment in attending the conference.
