ql-align-justify">In terms of providing multiple pathways for learners, strategizing to access, process and demonstrate understanding, we define the matter as Differentiated Learning. This concept is one of the e-learning platforms that offered various tasks, assessments and support. Highlighting the learners to engage according to their readiness and how they attempt to do it in their style. I have here, three (3) concepts on differentiated learning which are appealing to me and most of the time is what I am utilizing.

First, personalized learning. Most of the time, we personalized our learning, and its is the same with e- learning system. Personalized learning is an approach that adjusts content of the subject matter, the pace of how it is delivered and also feedback to each learner’s unique needs, interests and goals. The students also can revisit modules, lessons and such. In the study of Kaswan, K. S. et. al, (2024), they presented artificial intelligence (AI) as revolutionized various sectors, emphasizing its impact on education, specifically in personalized learning, whichis increasingly significant. Further, they highlighted that personalized learning aims to cater to individual student’ unique needs, learning styles, and abilities, enabling them to achieve better educational outcomes. The researchers view AI technologies as something that offer the potential to transform a traditional educational model by providing resilient and tailored approaches that are essential to enhance student engagement, learning efficiency, and overall educational experiences.

Next, the Learner Diversity, an important matter to regard since this speaks about the receiver, the audience, the learner who is will learn from this differentiated learning experience. Here, differences among learners’ abilities, backgrounds, learning styles and motivations are to be considered. In e-learning, learners are classified according to their profile and educating them based on their context. In a study conducted by Ikebuchi, S. (2023), she presented in her focus about the Canadian post-secondary institutions that emerged from the pandemic restrictions. According to her, they are in a historically unique position to assess how online education has both facilitated and hindered learning, and how the effects might be greater for some. Ikebuchi, S. (2023 researched with an, open-ended comments from the Canadian Digital Learning Research Association 2022 Spring National Survey. It the survey, it was analyzed to understand how online and/or hybrid learning both supported equity, diversity, and inclusion and presented equity, diversity, and inclusion -related challenges. The findings were that: (a) online and hybrid learning presents challenges of access for students marginalized by “race,” class, and location; (b) online and hybrid learning supports EDI by increasing access and flexibility; (c) pedagogy and course design are central to ensuring that online and/or hybrid learning supports equity, diversity, and inclusion; and (d) student experiences and expectations around online learning indicate a need for support and flexibility. In the study of Ikebuchi, S. (2023), her presented findings highlighted some of the promises of online and hybrid learning, but they also bring to light some of the challenges.

Lastly, the localized learning. In this matter, learning is connected to global digital content to localized culture, language and context. E-learning materials are modified to replicate local realities, values, and examples, making them more applicable and meaningful. In the study of Levitan, J., et. al (2025), they highlighted how interdisciplinary collaborations can support innovations and improve educational access for low-income students from remote regions through distributed learning, based on their focus study. While research have found significant promise in contextualized education, the processes of engaging in contextualized digital learning and in low-income communities have proven difficult to implement. The researchers discussed the concepts, research base, processes, and technology required to address these needs, as well as the curricular and pedagogical approach we take in this initiative.

In conclusion, part of e-learning is to see its purpose and what it is for. Always, in educational system we adjust based on what we need. In differentiated learning, these three gives light to a better way of transmitting lessons to everyone – personalize, localized and high regards to learning diversity.
