Essentially, it is a map that lays out the path of research indicating what has already been studied and why. It is a good idea to explain the research gap, defining what works and how it must be validated / expanded upon.

For example, peer-to-peer learning is often implemented via online discussion forums in such environments as Moodle or the like (eg. Coursera). By discussing this way, our learners get insights from different individuals and understand the subject matter in a better manner.

Another example is collaborative group work using shared online tools such as Google Docs or Padlet. Students can work together in real time to create presentations, brainstorm ideas, or complete projects. This not only develops teamwork and communication skills but also helps students become more responsible and independent learners.

Peer-to-peer learning is valuable because it creates a sense of community in online education. Instead of learning alone, students become active contributors to the learning experience. It also promotes engagement and motivation, since learners feel more connected and involved in the course.
