R. Raj Singh is Professor of Philosophy at Brock University, specializing in contemporary European and Eastern philosophies. He is the author of four books, including Bhakti and Philosophy (2006), Death, Contemplation, and Schopenhauer (2007), Schopenhauer: A Guide for the Perplexed (2010), and Heidegger, World, and Death (2013), as well as numerous scholarly articles.

Jacqueline Kumar earned her PhD in Philosophy from Queen’s University, Canada. She specializes in contemporary European philosophy with an emphasis on the thought of Simone Weil, and is also well-versed in Eastern—particularly Indian—philosophy. She has presented her research at various academic conferences and continues to explore the intersections of Eastern and Western philosophical traditions.
