Together, the conferences examine how climate change intensifies existing inequalities, exposes governance gaps, and tests the capacity of societies to respond across time.

Hosted by the University of the Aegean in Rhodes, Greece, the gathering brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to address climate change as a systemic and temporal challenge. Contributions focus on slow-onset impacts, adaptation and mitigation, climate justice, and the long-term consequences of short-term decision-making—while remaining connected to wider sustainability frameworks.
