Teaching across the US, I observed a growing decline in education. Two major concerns stood out: low level ‘thinking’ dominating school curriculum and lack of utilizing student’s individual strengths in large classrooms.

So, I created Smart Art!

Smart Art requires all levels of thinking to reach the highest: Creativity. Then inventories begin collect data on each students to uncover their strengths. This book is a summary of 20 years of practice, research and learning from mistakes.

I streamlined it for teachers: it is accessible to any age and any subject. It does not change curriculum. But does require the highest level of thinking: creativity and utilizes each students' personal strengths.

We AGREE students are each UNIQUE… then why are we expecting the SAME response on the SAME material?

Howard Gardner, Harvard Professor who created Multiple Intelligences (used in Smart Art) said it best: "The biggest mistake of past centuries in teaching has been to treat all children as if they were variants of the same individual and thus to feel justified in teaching them all the same subjects the same way.
