ql-align-justify"> When we hear Ubiquitous Learning, what comes to our mind? Before I take this course, I don’t have any idea what it means but this course helped me to have an idea. I learned that by the word ubiquitous according to the module it means anywhere, anytime.

According to Cope and Kalantzis (2010), ubiquitous learning is a new educational paradigm made possible in part by the affordances of digital media. It means that technology like smartphones, tablets, the internet, apps, and online platforms provides features that make continuous learning possible. Example, a Grade 7 student watching an educational video on the phone, answering a quiz on an app, or joining an online discussion even outside school hours.

One of the practical example of u-Learning in my teaching experience is the use of mobile-based tasks where students access lessons, answer activities, and receive feedback anytime using their devices. This allows learning to continue beyond the classroom and supports flexible, student-centered learning. One experience that I can share is the time when I allowed them to use their phone in my class. It was the time when we have a group quiz bee and they will use a website named Kahoot. Instead of a traditional pen and paper quiz, I used Kahoot for active and engaging learning, promotes participation, provides instant feedback, and supports flexible, game-based learning. It also helps teachers assess students in an interactive and enjoyable way.

As the world continues to move dynamically, everything seems to be getting faster especially in the field of education. With the continuous development of new technologies and innovations, the way we teach and learn has rapidly evolved. These advancements bring many benefits, making tasks easier and learning more accessible. However, it is important to use them responsibly and effectively. Their true purpose is to support continuous learning and to help learners grow anytime and anywhere.
