Hello Scholars,

Dr. Cecilia Brantley's research lifecycle captures today's next phase of women's growth in male-dominated sectors of engagement. The lens of the scholarly, peer-reviewed community examined the relevance of academic work. It's exciting to have a study that fills a gap in education history by empirically investigating how little research exists on the following framework:

Dr. Brantley's research aligned with an interest in sports and wellness. Accordingly, Dr. C.'s Theory holds that women are "Risk-Takers" like their counterparts. These assertions are valid in the context of male-dominated motorsports. Academic literature representation of women as "Risk-Adverse". Society continues to evolve, and so does women's appetite for risk!

*The caveat is that "gatekeepers" have to open the doors of opportunities!

Women remain underrepresented in tech, accounting for less than a third of the global workforce, according to a World Bank report. Women also face gender bias and limited mentorship. Nevertheless, women's resiliency will continue to make significant strides in 2026, for example, in 2024, with historic political achievements such as Claudia Sheinbaum becoming Mexico's first female president and Lisa Blunt Rochester and Angela Alsobrooks breaking barriers in the US Senate. In sports, women made up a record 49% of athletes at the Paris Olympics, and Caitlin Clark's basketball achievements boosted viewership and advertising endorsements.
