ql-align-justify">As an education student, we get to explore different educational technologies that are useful and beneficial not just for us educators who integrate it but also for learners who will use it because educational technologies enable students to target their different learning needs. It also equips students with digital literacy skills and 21st century skills that are necessary for their future careers.

There is this one multimodal communication site that I use all the time as an educator student who uses gamification in her demonstration teaching and that is Quizizz. Quizizz is one of the most popular gamified educational technology platforms used to create interactive quizzes, and lessons–where educators can design their powerpoint presentations through the site, and lastly assessments for students. Quizizz is a learning platform that is commonly used nowadays in classroom activities, as this platform is engaging and interactive. Comparing the traditional notions of literacy where students will read text solely, in this platform, students can interpret meaning through visuals, game elements, and also interact with their peers.

This educational platform is proof that multimodal analysis of meaning is very useful as it helps educators to understand how learners learn not only through words and reading a text, but also through visuals, interactions, and digital engagement. Tools such as Quizizz are useful in terms of learning in multiple forms such as images, videos, symbols, audio, and digital platforms. It definitely shows that literacy now includes the ability to interpret and respond to different types of media. Indeed, multimodal communication makes learning more interactive, engaging, and relevant to students’ everyday learning experiences. As a future educator, it is our responsibility to give our students the best educational technological tools that could help them improve their learning by increasing it with available and accessible technology tools. Therefore, we can also integrate multimodal learning platforms like Quizizz on targeting our students skills and diverse learning needs.
