In today's educational learning in a classroom setting, diversity is the norm. Number of students come together with unique learning styles, abilities, and even experiences and backgrounds. In order to cater these differences, one approach exists that helps in providing each student with an optimal learning experience - Differentiated Learning.

This generally includes tailoring instruction to meet individual needs, interests, and abilities. It allows teachers to differentiate content, process, product, or environment to create a learning experience that's engaging and challenging for each student.

One example of this is in a language class, other students might read a simplified text and work in groups while some tackle more complex materials and write individual reflections. In this case, it is a fact that assessments vary given the options like presentations, writings, or projects.

And since the world evolves, technology plays a key role in differentiated learning as well as their are useful tools like adaptive software, learning apps, and multimedia resources that can be utilized.These tools aid teachers personalize instruction, maximizing time to guide and support those students who need it most.

With the right application and integration to teaching-learning process, the said approach will definitely deliver an increased engagement, improved academic achievement, and enhanced student autonomy.

According to Carol Ann Tomlinson(2001), "The goal of differentiation is to do what's best for each student, academically and affectively." This only emphasizes the importance of applying differiated learning ensuring that all students learn in their own way with accurate strategies involved in their best interests. Similarly, Howard Gardner (1993) also stated "we should try to understand and assess the strengths of our students, not just their weaknesses."

Hence, by embracing differentiated learning, educators create inclusive environments where every student is given adequate and fair opportunity to thrive despite learning differences which promotes academic achievement.
