In education, feedback plays a crucial role in driving learning and identifying areas for improvement. One-way flow of information is typically used in traditional model. But one thing that creates a dynamic and effective learning environment through a loop of continuous improvement is recursive feedback.

Recursive feedback is a process where the feedback or comment is given, the learner or recipient acts on it, outcome is assessed, then a new feedback again is generated. Basically, the loop repeats which encourages ongoing reflection among students, adaptation, and promotes improvement and favorable outcome.

Examples of these are Formative Assessment wherein as an educator, giving feedback on a student's draft essay is essential for their concept construction, elaboration, and idea presentation which promotes creativity and better transitions. Another example used commonly is Peer Review wherein students are given the chance to determine areas for improvement among their classmates.

According to John Hattie, a renowned education researcher, "the BIG idea we missed in the earlier review was that we needed to conceptualize feedback more in terms of what is received as opposed to what is given." which only emphasizes the importance of recursive feedback. Hattie highlights that it should focus on how students receive and process information, rather than just the act of giving a feedback.

Additionally, it is very important as well that to implement this, clear goals should be set, seek feedback actively, act on the feedback given, and make the assessment and loop back.

Overall, recursive feedback can transform learning environments, foster growth, encourage deeper understanding, promote self-directed learning, and continuous improvement among students. It can transform how they learn by embracing this loop of continuous improvement as new set and skills will be developed for lifelong learning.
