ql-align-justify">I am Imeliza Joy Arellano, 25 years old, born and raised at Tanza, Cavite. I graduated from Cavite State University with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science. My academic training focused on science education, teaching strategies, and developing skills needed to teach different science subjects in secondary school. Currently, I am working as a Junior High School (JHS) teacher in one of the private schools in Imus, Cavite, where I teach science subjects to students. At present, I am also continuing my professional growth by taking further studies and courses related to education.

Technology plays an significant role in our everyday life, especially in my work as a teacher. I use digital media to prepare lesson presentations, communicate with students, friends, and colleagues, and also to access educational resources online. Some of the applications I use most often include Gmail, Canvas, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Microsoft PowerPoint, YouTube, and messaging apps like Messenger for communication. These tools help me organize my lessons and make learning more engaging for my students.

I have experienced using e-learning both as a learner and as a teacher, especially during pandemic when many schools shifted to online or blended learning. One of my positive experiences was being able to access learning materials anytime and anywhere, which made it easier to review lessons and share resources with students. Online platforms also allow teachers to use videos, interactive quizzes, and digital presentations to make lessons more engaging. However, there were also some challenges, such as unstable internet connection, interaction with students is limited, and difficulty ensuring that all learners are actively participating. Despite all of these challenges, I believe that e-learning is a valuable tool in education when used effectively.

I decided to take this course because I want to enhance my knowledge and skills in using technology in education. As a teacher, I believe it is important to continuously learn new strategies that can improve the learning experience of students. Through this course, I hope to gain a better understanding of digital learning tools, effective e-learning strategies, and ways to integrate technology into my teaching. I also hope that the knowledge I gain will help me create a meaningful learning experiences for my students.
