ADVANTAGES OF UBIQUITOUS LEARNING

eLearning allows people to learn continuously at their own pace. Learners can access materials anytime, which gives them the freedom to study when it works best for them. It also encourages communication with other learners, helping build social skills and confidence when asking questions or working together. At the same time, students are motivated to think critically, do their own research, and check if their sources are reliable. By applying what they learn in real situations, they can see how much their knowledge and skills have improved (https://elearningindustry.com/ubiquitous-learning-key-characteristics-advantages-and-challenges). This is supported with the study of Pizzaro and Bansig, 2021, the participants were:

excited of the new technology,
came to terms of their own deeper awareness of their role as responsible adult learners where they take serious responsibility of their own pace, depth, and quality of learning
enhanced their learning engagement and has heightened their inter learner collaborative practice
exposure to ubiquitous learning had indirectly sharpened their critical problem-solving skills

This advance form of learning is promising. Having this form of learning where flexibility is one thing that comes to mind. Learners of today need to have options in learning. Personally, I see this as an advantage to me especially that I am far from the school where I am taking my Masters degree.
