One contemporary text of political rhetoric or public policy that sets social objectives for education is The Department of Education (DepEd)'s " Quality Basic Education Development Plan (QBEDP)" which is a 10-year plan that aims to improve learning outcomes across the country, focus on decentralization, digitalization, and public-private partnerships.

According to Education Secretary Sonny Angara, "Ito ay panata, hindi lamang ng DepEd, kundi ng buong sambayanan, na ihatid ang bawat batang Pilipino sa kaalaman at sa kinabukasan" which conveys a promise of certainty ensuring that every Filipino child receives quality education.

Additionally, DepEd's vision is to create Filipinos who "passionately love their country and whose values and competencies enable them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the nation". This really is highlighting the significance of putting "Education for all" an utmost priority and value. Apparently, the Basic Education Development Plan 2030 (BEDP 2030) serves as a long-term framework, with the alignment of United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 4 that emphasizes the essence of inclusivity and equitable quality education and promotion of lifelong learning opportunities for all.

And as an educator, I can say that this plan would greatly help in incorporating digital tools in my teaching practices, designing lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, focusing on student-centered approach, and can also be beneficial in continuously updating my skills and knowledge on best practices. Certainly, in this new era where learning is challenged, sufficient tools and environment can significantly be of difference.

Overall, with such initiation of both QBEDP and BEDP 2030, new learning and education will be much inclusive, emphasizes quality, and digitalization in education.
