Some of those changes are the integration of technology especially after the pandemic, giving emphasis on student-centered learning, and mental health awareness.

Before, learning mostly happened inside the classroom with face-to-face discussions, use a handwritten notes, and usage of physical textbooks. But when the schools shifted online, everything changed.

I used to attend classes through platforms like google meet and submit assignments on Google Classroom. It was overwhelming at first. It was hard to stay focused while staring at a screen for hours, and I missed interacting with classmates in person. Sometimes the technical issues made learning frustrating. Despite these, I also see the benefits of it, and become more independent and responsible for managing my own time. I also learned how to use different digital tools, create presentations online, and communicate more clearly through written messages.

Another change is giving more focus on student-centered learning. Instead of just giving information to the students, they are now encouraged to share their opinions, think critically, and also connect the lessons to real-life scenarios.

Lastly, there’s also more awareness when it comes to the mental health of the students as well as their well-being. This makes the learning environment feel more supported and valued.

To sum it up, recent changes in education have been challenging but also transformative. Now, it pushed me to adapt to it and develop skills that go beyond the classroom.
