One contemporary text of political rhetoric or public policy that sets social objectives for education is UNESCO's emphasis on the importance of learner-centered and responsive pedagogy that promotes active participation, creativity, and collaboration. This approach is evident on their Happy Schools initiative, which quality learning is presented with happiness and well-being as the means and goal.

Additionally, UNESCO's International Bureau of Education (IBE) promotion on quality learning by supporting countries does not limit to designing, developing, and implementing relevant, inclusive, and context-specific curricula but also offers expertise and guidance on key themes integration like for sustainable development in education ,global citizenship education, and digital literacy into national curricula.

Thus, regarding authentic pedagogy which is a student-centered approach that emphasizes student agency through in-depth knowledge construction and connecting classroom learning to real-world, meaningful problems, it is safe to say that this method aligns with the UNESCO's promotion on active participation and collaboration. One example is Project-Based Learning (PBL), where students gain deeper knowledge and skills by working on real-world projects that require critical thinking, collaboration with peers, and problem-solving.

The key features of authentic pedagogy are: a)real-world relevance which means projects are connected to real-world issues or problem, b) learner-centered which indicates students working at their own pace and taking ownership of their learning at the same time, c)Collaborative wherein students work in groups and learn from each other by sharing of ideas and concepts, d)Critical thinking which refers to students' formulation of information analysis, evaluation, and synthesis to solve problems , and lastly e)Feedback and reflection wherein are given feedbacks to reflect on their learning process.

According to Newmann, F.M., & Wehlage, G.G.(1993), "Authentic intellectual work involves the construction of knowledge through disciplined inquiry to produce discourse, products, or performances that have value beyond school."

Based on my personal experience as well, when I handled 6th grade as a substitute teacher, it was very fulfilling to have witnessed the creativity and collaboration among my learners when they have presented a Science project that visualizes the rapid changes in nature. And as for me, it only solidifies that "student- centered approach or method" promotes efficiency among students as it bridges them the reality of real-world situations wherein they will explore how things will be dealt with and formulate resolutions for such real-world problems.

Overall, this approach does not just foster collaboration and communication skills but also, develops problem-solving skills that prepares learners for real-world challenges.
