In recent years, the nature of education has undergone significant transitions caused by an increased technological advancements and shifting societal needs. As a result, the way we learn and teach has been changed and transformed gradually, making education more accessible and flexible as the years go by.

Based on the report cited by the UNESCO (2020), "the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the use of digital technologies in education, with many countries turning to online learning platforms to ensure continuity of learning." This shift of medium of teaching has made it feasible for students to access high-quality educational content from anywhere, at any time. Given that during pandemic, many schools and universities in the Philippines shifted to online classes for the meantime, providing students a continuous learning remotely and preventing a halt of knowledge acquisition.

Apparently, this alternative has simply come up with advantages to both teachers and students--increased accessibility, flexibility, and personalized learning experiences. However, challenges like the digital division and sustained engagement remain. According to Li and Lalani (2020), "the digital divide has exacerbated existing inequalities in education, with some students lacking access to devices, internet connectivity, or digital literacy." Despite these hurdles, the evolution of education up to this day is undeniable. As we move forward, it's crucial to harness technology to enhance learning outcomes and bridge gaps among learners.

As an educator, it is must that resources including now the digital ones should be utilized to our advantage for mainly putting educational goals in motion for, promote vast access to essential information, and meet the increasing demand of a quality learning. This made me realize how adaptable education needs to be in terms of exploring new ways of learning and teaching.
