ql-align-justify">Persistence: Strong statements from Mayor Laarni Cayetano, Mayor of the City Government of Taguig: “We believe in the importance of encouraging and supporting every young person to read, as it is the key to raising their level of literacy, … In Taguig, we are 'Bayang Bumabasa' - a reading nation, and our comprehensive programs reflect this deeply held conviction”.

I remember, in year 2018, our team of motivational speakers spoke about the significance of LGU support in education among the public schools, specifically to the Junior and Senior High in Taguig City. We highlighted the importance of choosing success at all times, with quality education and perseverance. As mentioned above, I can say that Mayor Cayetano aced it when it comes to the education sector of Taguig. She really gave focus not only to free access to education but giving her best effort to support every young people and even those who are at old age to pursue their studies and succeed. Another impressive service of Mayor Cayetano is her persistent drive to improve and level up the reading skills and comprehension of every young Taguigenos along with the practical and helpful programs that may empower her constituents desire for learning. Keeping her goal on education, to level up the literacy among the citizens of Taguig. It was 2018 when my attention was drawn to our City Mayor, and to date she continues her commitment to bring the best among the Taguigenos. This may not sound extraordinary story because globally, political leaders have their ways to deal and set the social objectives for education, but personally, for me, her consistency will bring a transforming education either in formal and informal learning, in this present age. And this transforming education can transform a society for good.
