In the past, I often relied on lectures, worksheets, and direct instruction, where I controlled the pace and flow of knowledge in the classroom. Today, my students have access to laptops, tablets, and online resources, which allows them to explore topics at their own pace, collaborate with peers, and take ownership of their learning.

A clear example of this change is a recent science project I supervised. Instead of giving step-by-step instructions, I asked my students to design a simple experiment on their own, research it online, and present their findings. I noticed that students who were normally quiet in class became confident leaders in their groups. They discussed ideas, debated approaches, and even shared resources they found online with one another. My role shifted from being the sole source of knowledge to a facilitator who guides, supports, and challenges students when needed.

These changes have made me reflect on my teaching philosophy. I realize that learning is no longer confined to the classroom or the school day. Students are interacting with ideas, tools, and people in ways that extend beyond the walls of the classroom. This has also challenged me to be more flexible, creative, and responsive, designing lessons that encourage exploration, collaboration, and critical thinking.
