ql-align-justify">The authentic literacy pedagogy has created two relevant approaches that made our literate life easier in the form of writing a love letter or a resignation letter. The approaches are Whole language and Process of writing, which both show a clear and structured way of making your work more authentic and concise. But I will go off with the process of writing approach.

As a student, I prefer a recursive process of writing as someone who is really conscious of proper grammar, spelling, and the final output of my written output. According to Yeung (2019), the process approach theoretically holds the greatest potential in encouraging the development of learner autonomy. In practice, the process approach brings the student writer through the process of pre-writing, drafting, revision, and editing. Personally, this type of approach emphasizes that a person can learn to write by actually writing with the purpose of expressing their thoughts and emotions with real audiences. The approach of writing process is far broader because of the different stages a person must go through to deliver, but using this type of authentic literacy pedagogy will strengthen the output. Process writing promotes deep learning because people understand that writing is a thinking process, not just a copy-and-paste. Also, it encourages creativity and personal voice, builds critical thinking, increases engagement, and supports real-world literacy. But, this type of writing process is time-consuming due to less emphasis on direct grammar instruction, requiring skilled teachers to guide and give constructive feedback. Hence, the writing Process Approach transforms writing from a mechanical task into a dynamic and meaningful experience. By guiding students through brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing, it embodies the essence of authentic pedagogy, providing the students with the ability to write, the confidence, and understanding to communicate effectively.

In conclusion, the process of writing approach teaches students to construct proper and coherent texts but also nurtures the ability to think deeply and critically, express creativity, and engage meaningfully. Ultimately, embracing this authentic literacy pedagogy allows students to transform writing from a mere academic exercise into a powerful tool for communication, self-expression, and lifelong learning.
