ql-align-justify">Didactic is another word for “to teach”, in which the knowledge is directly transmitted from the teacher to the learners. As a college student, I prefer the traditional way of teaching while fostering the innovation of the educational system. One of the methods that gave me a great impression is the Knowledge acquisition model, wherein the learning is viewed as the process of acquiring information transmitted by an expert.

According to Subiksha (2012), the knowledge model is a process that includes elicitation, collection, analysis, modeling, and validation of knowledge and shall focus on the essential and timeliness. In this model, the teacher is the deliverer of content knowledge through lectures, explanations, and demonstrations, while the students listen, take notes, memorize, and later go through a formative and summative assessment. Moreover, the promotion of blended didactic learning allows the innovation of traditional ways of teaching to incorporate technology to match the learning style of the new generation of students. For example, a structured mini-lecture where the teacher delivers a 10-15 minute discussion together with objectives and key concepts that are explained directly, preserving clarity and a strong content foundation. While interacting with the students through some gamified challenges, online quizzes, interactive slides, and other platforms, to enhance student engagement and transform passive listening into active participation. This kind of didactic pedagogy fits the new generation because students learn through engagement and collaboration due to their shorter attention span and their own preference for learning styles. So, the innovation will keep the structured knowledge transmission, adding engagement and autonomy, making learning more personalized. At the same time, the innovation would face some challenges because it would require the teachers to train about the changes, to have a reliable internet connection and devices, and control over the risk of distraction during class if the internet use is not well-managed. Therefore, fostering the innovation of traditional ways of teaching and learning would maintain clarity and traditional teaching, increase student engagement, encourage 21st-century skills (collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication), the use of data for improvement, and lastly, support flexible learning.

In conclusion, the blended didactic model is a modernized traditional teaching model by the integration of structured instruction with the use of digital interaction. Respecting the strengths of adapting to the needs of the new generation
