ql-align-justify"> As a scholar in the Lunduyan sa Kahusayan Cohort 3 of NEAP in partnership with NTC last 2022-2023, I was transformed. One lesson that still lingers in my mind is how UNREADY we are. Typhoons are just short interruptions. Oftentimes in our barrio, we come to class on Saturdays to make up the missed classes. However, the COVID-19 pandemic was different. It was TOTALLY different. It was chaotic, confusing and made a lot of us say, "Well, it's not our fault that there's pandemic, so there's nothing I could do." It was really disappointing not to be able to provide solution. And then we learned the new 3R. Reasoning, Resilience, and Responsibility. Emphasized by the American Psychological Association, experts have identified reasoning, resilience and responsibility as key problem-solving skills that, when learned, can benefit student achievement and general life success strategies.

Living in a DVUCAD (Diverse, Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world, transformative pedagogy is really the ideal one. As mentioned by Kristy Pruitt in her article "Transformative Teaching: Empowering Future Educators," transformational teaching really goes beyond traditional instruction, empowering students to develop the skills they need to succeed in this ever-changing landscape.
