  I am a PhD student in IDEC, Hiroshima University. I came from Indonesia. This is the second years of my study. My field study is ecology, and I am interest on biological control between Bacillus thuringiensis againts Aedes aegypti larvae. In my country, Dengue Haemorhagic Fever (DHF)is one of the most serious problems in Indonesia in both urban and rural areas of East Java. This is because dengue fever is a disease that causes high yearly mortality. DHF is transmitted predominantly by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes that have adapted to living near human-inhabited areas. This species has cosmo-tropical distribution and is widely distributed troughthout Indonesia. Therefore, an effective environmental management system is necessary to avoid the spread of human disease. Less
