...MoreDr Yuko Kinoshita is a linguist and language educator. She has been an active researcher and practitioner in two distinct areas of expertise: forensic voice comparison and Japanese language education. Dr Kinoshita had convened, designed, lectured and tutored undergraduate Japanese courses at the University of Canberra from 2002 to its closure in 2013. She has also supervised graduate units and taught in the TESOL program. Dr Kinoshita has contributed to building the empirical basis for these voice comparison techniques, through her research and publications. She has also conducted analyses as a forensic voice comparison expert since 2007, working for both law enforcement agencies and legal practitioners.
