I got my first degree 1989 on anthropology and I worked for the protected areas of Egypt. My job is to coordinate with the local community through contributing to the Bedouin support programme that included health education, handicraft and eco-tourism promotion. In 2003 I completed my master degree on education for sustainability from South Bank University, London. Consequently, I was responsible for the public awareness and environmental education programme in the protectorate. Finally in 2006, I started my PhD research at the institute of education, university of London. The research focus on designing and environmental education programme that is build on the Bedouin indigenous knowledge, which helps conserving the natural and the culture heritage of the area. I worked as a consultant with various projects with UNDP, IUCN, in Egypt. I am interested in critical learning and indigenous knowledge preservation.
