Viviane Ruellot received her M.A. in French Studies from State University of New York at Albany, USA and her Ph.D. in French and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. She is an Assistant Professor of French at Western Michigan University where she teaches French and applied linguistics. Her research interests include second language acquisition and pedagogy, pronunciation instruction, and computer-assisted French pronunciation acquisition. She serves as coordinator of beginning French courses and as liaison between Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo high schools.
