Vincenzo Russo is Associate Professor of Consumption Psychology and Neuromarketing at IULM University in Milan. Since 2007 he has coordinated the Observatory on Food Consumption and Communication and since 2010 he has been the Scientific Director of the research laboratory on neuroscience and neuromarketing communication processes and consumption, Behavior and Brain Lab IULM.
He is Deputy Rector for Expo2015 and for Research Evaluation at IULM University and Scientific Director of the Master on Food and Wine Communication, at IULM University.
After receiving a Master in Business Administration (MBA) at the ISIDA in Palermo, he received a PhD (Man and Environment: cultures, rights, theories and movements). He specialized at the Auburn University (USA) on decision-making and organizational behavior.
Co-Author of one of the most used textbooks of Psychology of Consumption, has long been involved in research methodology on consumption, organizational communication and social communication, cognitive processes, and perceptual learning in relation to the behavior of consumption. On these issues, has published theoretical contributions and research in various journals: Food Quality and Preference, Journal of Global Information Management, European Journal of Information Systems in Food Quality and Preference, Resource Man, and Psychology, Consumption and Society.
