  Virginia Mapedzahama has just completed her doctoral dissertation which was cross-cultural comparative analysis of women’s work/life negotiations in Adelaide and in Harare. Her research interests are in the areas of women and work, family research, African feminisms and African women's diasporic identities. She has taught courses in Soiciology at in the School of International Studies, University of South Australia. She is currently a Postdoctoral research fellow in the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Sydney. Less
