  I was born and raised in Barrington, Illinois. I went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where I received my B.A. in Mathematics and Statistics and B.S. in Integrated Mathematics Education. I then moved to Chicago, Illinois, and taught at a charter school for 3 years. I now teach Geometry and AP Statistics at the Dalian American International School in Dalian, China.
