  My interest and areas of work in Uganda since 2004 has been in data management, statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Health Information Systems, design and implementation. Since 2011, I worked for the UNICEF and WHO Country Officers, based in the Ministry of Health's Division of Health Information. The major roles involved the support of countrywide rollout and implementation of the District Health Information Software (DHIS2) and Medicines and disease tracking (mTRAC). Additionally, I supported the countrywide trainings in Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) to the districts and lower level facility staff. I am currently supporting the country in the development of the multi-year data improvement plan aimed at developing sustainable and lasting solutions to data quality issues.
