...MoreUmesh Sharma is a lecturer at the University of Waikato. He teaches financial accounting and management accounting. He is a member of the Fiji Institute of Accountants and CPA (Australia). His research interests include new public management, institutional theory, balanced scorecard, total quality management, management accounting and control changes, sustainability and accounting education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Accounting from the University of the South Pacific (Fiji), Graduate Certificate in Management from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Waikato. Prior to joining University of Waikato, Umesh has been an academic staff (Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer) with the University of the South Pacific in Fiji .
