...MoreTommy joined the School of Economics and Finance, QUT in 1998 as an Associate Lecturer. His vast array of teaching experience, both at secondary and tertiary levels which spans over 20 years, has been consolidated with his doctorate entitled, A Study of Student Learning in Economics. His main research interest is assessment, critical thinking and student learning. In 2007, Tommy was awarded a QUT Teaching Fellowship to develop models of peer partnership with a view to enhancing effective teaching practices.
