  Tolulope Lawrence (B.A. Ceramic Design, M.A. Industrial Design, PhD Industrial Design) is an Associate Professor and Acting Head of Department of Industrial Design, Federal University of Technology, Akure Nigeria. A pioneering staff of the Department of Industrial Design, Akinbogun has taught Ceramic Design at the University since 1992. He is a member of the following Professional Associations: Ceramic Association of Nigeria (CerAN), Craft Potters Association of Nigeria (CPAN), Nigerian Society of Education through Art (NSEA), Society of Nigerian Artist (SNA). American Ceramic Society (ACerS), International Society of Ceramic art Education and exchange (ISCAEE).He attended the Clay Festival ’06 organized by Ceramics Southern Africa September 2006 at University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He also attended and presented a paper at the International InSEA Symposium in Heidelberg Germany in July 2007.
