Tiago Assis teaches at Porto's University - School of Fine Arts and is a researcher of Valencia's Universitat Politécnica - Spain. In his PHD he is developing a thesis under the title: ‘Information and Communication Technologies for Development and their Impact in Info-excluded Communities - Interfaces, Contexts and Politics’. Tiago has a Master on Multimedia Production from Universitat de Barcelona in 2005, and a degree on Communication Design from the School of Arts and Design - Matosinhos in 1998. Tiago teaches arts since 2003. Also worked on graphic design, web, video and photography for several companies and as a freelancer. He has been working on the group Identidades with ICT in communities from Mozambique, Cape-Vert, Brazil and Portugal since 1999.
