Thomas Kong is a Singapore registered architect and an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is the Principal of Studio Chronotope, a research based studio with a strong focus on Asian urbanism. His work and teaching is centered on architecture and the city as anthropological objects that carry multiple layers of histories and meanings, which are revealed, amplified and shaped into certain possibilities.Thomas Kong is currently a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore during the academic year 2012/2013.
