Dr. Wong obtained his BEd (Secondary Mathematics) at Edith Cowan University, former Western Australian College of Advanced Education, his MEd (Teacher Education) at University of Western Sydney and his EdD at University of Leicester. Before joining the HOng Kong Institute of Education, he had been teaching as lecturer, graduate master, assistant master and certificate master for 14 years in Hong Kong and Australia. He has presented many mathematics education papers in international education conferences and he also published many papers in journals. He was also a author of two series of primary and secondary mathematics textbooks.
