Sushant Singh has MS and PhD in Environmental Sciences from Magadh University, India. He has been working on Arsenic contamination in groundwater, soil and food for several years. He has been teaching (seven years) Environmental Sciences at Anugrah Narayan College, Patna (India) as a visiting faculty and supervised several undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, he has published several books and juried articles on global environmental problem and gives presentations on his research accomplishments at several national and international platforms. Furthermore, he has worked with UNICEF as a Project Group Leader and Coordinator and with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as an Assistant Pollution Control Expert. He represented India in Asian Forum for Cross-Cultural Dialogue in 2009, held in China. His areas of interest are deriving social vulnerability scales and vulnerability mapping in arsenic affected areas, establishing sustainable practices and management of mitigation technologies, and developing socioeconomic models in contaminated areas.
