In addition to teaching, Professor Miskelly is Director of Debate and Competitive Speaking. Her students have won hundreds of trophies in regional and national competitions in the United States. Professor Miskelly proposed what has become the newest area of the Bridgewater State College Academic Achievement Center, the Communication Lab. The Communication Lab provides assistance to students who are preparing oral presentations in courses.
